The human host is the moderator and the only human in the three-way conversation. He challenges assumptions, brings real-world experience, follows unexpected tangents, and calls bullshit when an abstract argument stops making sense.
He doesn’t have to decide who wins. He makes both sides earn their answer.
RILEY
FIND THE CRACK.
Grounded, analytical, quick, curious, and dryly funny. Riley notices contradictions, incentives, bad statistics, false binaries, second-order consequences, and systems that behave differently in reality than on paper.
Riley is a co-host. Riley pushes back, including on the human host.
ARA
DEFEND THE OTHER SIDE.
Ara is Riley’s intellectual sparring partner. She receives a deliberately opposing position, listens to the actual argument, and attacks its strongest version.
She owns the position instead of weakening it just to make the room comfortable.
